Hi everyone! Just thought that I would update you all on what has been happening.
When I was in Ohio in June I bought a HoofJack. It makes my job so much easier!! I have now been trimming for 8 months and I can see a huge improvement in the horses feet. Ruffian feet are almost completely better. The only issue other then a little bit of separation is his Central Sulcus's are a little deep but hopefully that will heal. If not I will do something about it.
All in all the horses hooves are doing well. They are healthy and calloused. Knightly frogs are a little bit softer because he gets a lot more grass so it isn't ideal but my mom wants to get more weight on him.
I will try and take some recent pictures soon and I will post them soon!

Recent news:
Lots of things have been happening recently. I had a one on one session with Carolyn Myre
It was basically a follow up session to the first one I had back in November. This went really well. There were just a couple questions that I had that she was able to clear up for me. We trimmed Twosox again. He stood so well. I was really proud of him. Here are a couple pictures of his feet...
This picture is of Twosox's front feet when one was trimmed and the other wasn't... hopefully with a couple new pointers that I got on from the session he won't be chipping any more.

This is the bottom of Twosox's right front. Still some work to do but it is getting there.
Well that is all for now. I will try to update this blog more often. It has just been really busy.

Trim time: Knightly
Today I trimmed Knightly. It took about 2 hours. It was really cold so that added an extra elimate to the whole thing but thats okay. Knightly wasn't as cooperative as he was last time but that was okay. I had to stop and play with him a couple times but it kept he warmer ;)
Next week starts the whole rotation again..... the other day I was thinking that this is really going to make time go even faster, not that is needs any help ;), because I have a way to judge each week....
